Owen was born and grew up in the southeastern coastal area of Melbourne, Australia. His earliest training was as a designer and draftsperson.He recently been made the act head of the Glass studio at Sheridan College.

WORKSHOPS: Craft Ontario workshops are for craft professionals who want to strengthen their practice as creative entrepreneurs. Ranging from business skills to branding and marketing, Craft Ontario works to partner with experts in the field in order to connect members with information and guidance that helps get them to the next step.

CRAFTALKS: Community presentations by professionals in the field that explore contemporary craft practice.
