Discounts

Available to Community and Maker memberships. Discounts address financial barriers by lowering the base price for those who need it.

  • Priority Groups (- 50%): Artists of Colour, Deaf Artists, and Artists with Disabilities, Francophone Artists, Indigenous Artists, 2SLGBTQIA+ Artists

  • Distance (- 40%): Living 100km outside of Toronto.

  • Students (- 80%): Full-time enrolment in an educational institution. (Only for Maker Members)

  • Seniors (- 40%): Individuals 65 years or older.

  • Sliding Scale: For folks who find the price of membership a financial barrier. A custom price can be selected ranging from full price to 50% off.

Program Administration Fees

Current Maker Members do not pay any administrative fees.

Non-members now have access to apply for Craft Ontario Programs. For a $10 administrative fee, makers who are not yet members are welcome to apply. If the work is juried into a program, the individual must then join by purchasing a membership.

Who We Are

Formerly the Ontario Crafts Council, Craft Ontario is a not-for-profit service organization that works to have craft recognized as a valuable part of life. We promote and celebrate professional craft through providing member opportunities, and advocate for craft practice by educating and empowering diverse audiences.
