Sell at the Craft Ontario Shop

Interested in selling your work at the Shop?

The Craft Ontario Shop provides a marketplace for craft artists to house and sell their work. Located on the bustling and vibrant Queen Street West in downtown Toronto, the Shop is a destination for both locals and tourists.

Apply to Sell in the Shop

To sell in the Shop, you must first become a Maker Member. Craft artists that are not currently a member can still apply and pay a $10 administrative fee. If the application is successful, the applicant will be required to purchase a Maker Membership. Find more information about Craft Ontario membership benefits here.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED FOR YOUR APPLICATION:

DETAILED DESCRIPTIONS

  • A description of your practice and the work you are proposing
  • Information about materials, processes, and techniques used
  • Dimensions of the proposed work
  • Any mounting requirements or installation instructions
  • Retail values

IMAGES

  • Photographs must show the work centred and in focus with even lighting (a white background is preferred, and a 1:1 square aspect ratio)
  • Images showing details and different angles are recommended
  • Minimum resolution of 1080 x 1080px
  • Maximum file size 3MB each

Apply for the Retail Feature Program

The Retail Feature Program showcases a body of work in the front window space of the Craft Ontario Shop - located at 1106 Queen St W, Toronto, ON. The Retail Feature Program gives members the opportunity to highlight a range of work, including large or one-of-a-kind pieces, and production work. All work displayed in the Feature will be for sale and should have the potential to sell in a retail setting.

Craft Ontario has recently updated Membership, including Program application requirements. Craft artists that are not currently a member can apply and pay a $10 administrative fee. If the application is successful, the applicant will be required to purchase a Maker Membership.

DETAILS ABOUT THE SPACE:

  • Selected features will be on display for approximately thirty (30) days
  • Available wall space is 10’ x 10’
  • The window is 45” wide, and has a platform that is 45” x 54” x 12” (W x D x H)
  • Additional plinths, risers and floating wall shelves are available
  • Items cannot be hung from the ceiling
  • Download the layouts for the wall and floor plan of the available space
  • Review photos of past features!
