Interested in selling your work at the Shop?

The Craft Ontario Shop provides a marketplace for members whose work demonstrates excellence in design and craftsmanship in traditional and contemporary craft.


You must be a Craft Ontario Craft Professional member to sell your work in the Shop.

The deadline for new vendors to apply to our Spring-Summer 2019 Retail Program was January 14th, 2019. Submissions are now closed. 





  • Work must be a craft based medium, and reflect the quality that is represented by the Craft Ontario Shop
  • Work must be the original idea of the maker or a skillful rendering of a traditional or classic design
  • Articles that require simple assembly of commercially available parts as opposed to skillful manipulation of materials will not be accepted
  • Ready-made parts or components are permitted only if they are subordinate to the total design and craftsmanship of the object
  • The object must be capable of serving the purpose for which it was designed

PLEASE NOTE: Craft Ontario Shop does not accept the following:

  • hobby crafts
  • photography
  • flower arrangements or potpourri
  • plants
  • decorated stones, sea shells or other found objects
  • liquid embroidery
  • work made from kits, commercial patterns (as from pattern books or magazines)
  • work made with a commercial product as the focal point
  • work made with commercial moulds

Feature Display Application

We're pleased to announce a new Craft Ontario Shop application opportunity: a Feature Display!



The Feature Display program is intended to showcase the work of one or two members at a time, creating an attractive display in the front window and on the east entrance wall, which is highly visible from the street. This opportunity will allow featured members to show large pieces and to highlight a body of work.

Selected Features will be on display for 21 - 28 days. Work will be wall-mounted or displayed on plinths as necessary, and all displayed work must be for sale. The application is open to Craft Ontario professional members.

What you will need for your application:


  • Information about materials, processes, and techniques
  • Dimensions of the piece - and any mounting requirements or installation instructions
  • Inspiration for the design/series or any interesting facts about the work
  • Retail value


  • Work is in focus and photographed with even and ample lighting. A white background is preferred
  • Images that portray different 'sides' of the work if necessary
  • Minimum dimensions of 800px x 800px, 72 dpi.


  • Available wall space is 6 ft wide by 10 ft high
  • The window is 45 inches wide, and has a plinth that is 54 inches long x 12 inches high
  • Additional plinths, risers and floating wall shelves are available

Applications will be reviewed at the end of each month. If your application is selected, we will get in touch regarding scheduling, delivery and installation of chosen work. All applications will be kept on file for future consideration. We thank everyone for their applications!
