Exhibition Assistance Loan & Line of Credit
Ontario Arts Council Exhibition Assistance Program

Craft Ontario is a third-party recommender for the Ontario Arts Council Exhibition Assistance Program. The program provides individual artists with $500 to $2,000 to assist with the cost involved in producing, or taking part in, an upcoming exhibition.

As an OAC Exhibition Assistance program recommender, Craft Ontario reviews and recommends craft-related applicants via the Nova Application Portal. Approved applications are reviewed by a committee and forwarded to the OAC once the grant recipients are chosen.

Acceptable documents include a letter signed by the gallery director, curator or organizer, an exhibition contract, rental agreement or insurance document.
  • Provide a selection of 10 digital images of your current work. Submit a corresponding list identifying the date, title, technique/medium and dimensions of each work.

Loan & Line of Credit
Credit-Union-logo

This program is for arts professionals that find themselves in a position where change is essential. You may be a visual or craft-based artist undertaking a new community installation that requires a budget beyond your individual means, or you could be a maker taking a trip to another city to exhibit your work.

The Creative Arts Credit Union is a financial institution designed exclusively to meet creative practitioners needs.

Creative Arts can also structure a personal line of credit to help you meet your business goals.
Our Self-Promotion Loan is available as a line of credit — of $5,000 or more — for qualified borrowers. For members who want the discipline of a fixed repayment schedule, you can choose from levels of monthly payments to retire the drawn balance over a three-year term.

Apply online or phone 416. 642. 6749 or toll free: 877-643-3660
